Are you natural or permed and why?
I am natural, my story is a little bit complicated. i did the big chop about 3 years ago now and about a year ago everything was going well but i have natural, which 4C hair. Anyone out their who has 4C hair knows that its not easy to handle at all , i just got really frustrated and I got tempted to relax it. I relaxed it but luckily my hair is so thick it didn't take to the relaxer properly so only certain strands were relaxed and the rest of it was still natural. Right now i got a bit of damage and straight stands so I'm just waiting for that to grow out but majority I'm natural.
How long have you been natural ?
I have been natural for , hmm I cut it just before Uni so I've been natural for about 3 and a half years now.
What's your favourite protective style ?
My favourite protective hair style up until not long ago was crochet braids, I love crochet braids especially because you can have an afro style crochet braid were it still looks like your natural hair. Recently I've been really into wigs, don't know just like cornrow my hair down and pop on a wig but yeah it would either be crochet hair or wigs.
How do you maintain your natural hair and your protective hair?
If I'm being really honest I am not the best at maintaining my hair under my protective styles. I mean i manage to hold each protective style for about a month, however my sister protective styles last anything from 2 months to 4 months. I don't know how she does it but i think part of that is that i get bored quite easily so li like to change. But yeah how do i maintain my hair, I wash my actual hair underneath what ver the protective style is whether its crochet braids, whether its weave and wig. I make sure i wash my hair underneath maybe about once every 2 weeks and i make sure I'm constantly giving my hair what it needs so i got this product high we will probably talk about later but its called T44Z Hair food and it smell like bubble gum. I grease my scalp with this every 3 days as my scalp gets really dry easily so i have to keep giving it what it needs which is moisture and i don't do to well with oil because i know a lot of people go on about oils. I got really oily skin so when i put oil in my hair it leaks onto my skin and causes me to have breakouts so generally i tend to stay away from heavy oils. To maintain the protective style i think it depends on what it is, if its like weave or something obviously i just make sure I'm brushing it constantly. Another key thing is how i prep my hair before bed obviously with any style i have i always put a satin scarf on top of it before i go to bed to preserve the hair for the next morning thats one of the major keys and i think thats it.

Worst/Funniest hair experience?
Wow, Okay I am about to tell you lot a real deep dark secret. I was about 13 and I had those really small micro braids, I would never do them again because taking them out was just hell. But yeah i had like really small braids and the taking out process was just so long and i was getting really impatient. I got to the front part of my hair and i got so impatient that i just yanked it out, this happened when i was 12 and from then till now it hasn't grown back. I've tried everything from miracle growth creams, I've tried miracle growth shampoos and it just hasn't grown back. Now i got a little bald patch because i was to impatient to take out the small micro braids. Moral of the story is don't get to impatient and take time, care and precession to take out your hair.
What are your hair aspirations?
My first and most import one is to get ride of the damage that is currently in it obviously from what i said previously i relaxed my hair out of just being impatient so now i got to deal with the one or two odd strands that still have the relaxer in them. So i got to wait fro that to grow out and for my hair to be completely healthy again, thats my number one goal right now to get my hair completely healthy. But yeah I just want to keep retaining length and get my hair as long as it could possible get. I think I would be happy once my hair gets just under my boob naturally so when i straighten it would be even longer then that. I'm just going to keep retaining my hair growth and looking after my hair, giving it what it needs as i said before i got a dry scalp and i think those are my main hair goals
